LSU-Auburn kickoff time, TV coverage announced
LSU’s game next week against Auburn will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
The Auburn contest serves as the first road SEC game for the Tigers and head coach Brian Kelly.
It will mark LSU’s first night game at Auburn since 2016 when the Tigers dropped an 18-13 decision in Jordan-Hare Stadium. LSU and Auburn meet in Jordan-Hare Stadium on CBS in both 2018 and 2020.
LSU hosts New Mexico this week, while Auburn hosts Missouri at 11 a.m. on the SEC Network.

LSU coming off comeback win over Mississippi State
LSU trailed Mississippi State at halftime, but scored 21 straight points in the fourth quarter to come away with the 31-16 victory on Saturday. It was a milestone victory in Kelly’s first season at the helm, notching his first conference win.

“It’s really nice,” Kelly told ESPN’s Katie George after the game. “Anytime you can win a game in the SEC, it’s an accomplishment especially against a really quality team. That’s a veteran team. We started two freshmen on the offensive line and they managed to hang in there. We’ll just keep building it, we’ll enjoy this one and get ready for next week.
“We’re fighters. We showed that in Week 1, we just didn’t execute at the end. But that’s what we know about this team. They’ll fight. We executed so much better in the second half. Our defense played great. This is a really difficult team to defend. They played very well. I thought their defense was very difficult.”
