LSU has one of the top prospects in the 2025 class committed in Duncanville (Tex.) wide receiver Dakorien Moore. On3 named him a new five-star prospect in the latest rankings revealed on Monday.

The move made him a Five Star Plus+ prospect, a rare athlete that is a five-star by all four major recruiting media services.

Moore, who committed to the Tigers in August, is now the No. 4 overall prospect, No. 2 wide receiver in the nation and No. 1 prospect in the state of Texas. He moved up from the No. 45 overall prospect and No. 9 wide receiver in the nation.

LSU has hosted Moore for two games this fall and Texas hosted him as well. There’s an expectation that LSU and Texas will battle their way out for Moore until he signs, but many other programs are pushing. The Tigers have done a good job building that bond with him early.

“It’s something that I was looking forward to since I was a kid,” Moore told On3 last month. “I always wanted to be an LSU Tiger, growing up watching Odell Beckham, Ja’Marr Chase, Jarvis Landry, all the top dogs. Seeing that they’re in the league right now, there was no way I could pass up the opportunity.”

Moore and the Panthers are off to a great start toward another state championship run. They sit at 6-0 after another dominant victory over Mansfield last week, 51-0. Moore’s a big reason why as a star for Duncanville.

“I’d say we’re definitely trying to go 15-0 again. We want another one,” he said. “It’s even more this year because we want to get Samp (Duncanville coach Reginald Samples) two of them before he retire. He’s getting a little older. We want to do it one more time before he leaves.”
