2024 Shadow Creek (Tex.) defensive back and LSU commit Maurice Williams returns to Baton Rouge for another visit this weekend.

Williams, who committed to LSU on June 18, 2022, makes the visit one year after he got on board with the Tigers.

12 months later, he remains confident in his decision.

Maurice Williams feels strongly about LSU

Williams told On3 that he really likes where he’s at with his LSU commitment.

Earlier this offseason, Williams said he had an extended visit with Brian Kelly’s coaching staff that left him even more reassured with his pledge.

“The fact that I was able to spend time and talk with my future head coach, my position coach and my defensive coordinator,” Williams said. “It’s very important to me that I’m at a place where I can actually communicate with my coaches. These are the same guys that are gonna get on me when I mess up and and pat me on the back when I do well. So I’m excited to continue building the relationship with these guys.”
