LSU and Florida has three options for a kickoff time that’ll be announced on Sunday, using the six-day window, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday. The rivalry game will be either 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS, 6 p.m. CT on ESPN or 6:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

The Tigers and Gators meet in Baton Rouge inside Tiger Stadium for another key SEC matchup.

Last year, LSU beat Billy Napier’s Gators in Gainesville, 45-35. The Tigers have won four straight rivalry matchups with Florida and eight of the last 10 meetings.

The two teams have played every year since 1971 when the rivalry picked back up after a pause following the 1967 game. The series is tied 33-33-3.

LSU faces Alabama this week in Tuscaloosa following a bye week while Florida faces Arkansas fresh off its 43-20 loss to Georgia in its rivalry game.

LSU’s offense is cooking right now with Heisman Trophy contender Jayden Daniels at quarterback. Wideouts like Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas, Jr. have emerged to be stars and big down the field targets for the Tigers.

“Well, again, it’s a combination of finding your one-on-one matchups when it’s man coverage and then you know, we’re getting a combination of some cover 2 where you know, the roll in the corner to the weak side and you know, you get split safeties,” LSU head coach Brian Kelly said last week. “And those kids are pretty good. They’re going to run off safeties, anytime.

“So, I just think it’s, you know, again, we’re going to take advantage of our athletes in space against, you know, what you give us in terms of coverage, and if you could play a lot of cover 2 we’re gonna run the football and we’re gonna push the ball down the field vertically.”

LSU plays at 6:45 p.m. CT on CBS on Saturday against the Crimson Tide while Florida plays the Razorbacks at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2 on Saturday.
