LSU-Georgia State kickoff time, TV coverage announced
LSU will kick off against Georgia State on Sat., Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. CT inside Tiger Stadium, the SEC announced on Monday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
The Tigers are fresh off a 42-28 loss to Alabama on Saturday, giving the Tigers two SEC losses and a 6-3 overall record. This week, LSU welcomes Florida to Tiger Stadium for a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff on SEC Network.
Overall, it was a disappointing loss for LSU this weekend as the Tigers allowed 21 unanswered points to the Crimson Tide in the 2nd half.
Look, we’re playing a Top 10 team on the road. You can’t play good. We played good tonight,” LSU head coach Brian Kelly said after the game. “Good’s not good enough. You have to play elite when you go on the road and play a Top 10 team. Good’s not good enough. We didn’t play at a high enough level. Look, if we don’t throw the interception, we go down and score, then they’re going ‘wow that Alabama defense gave up a lot of points.’

“Look, it was a game that we needed to play better, we needed to coach better. We knew we were going on the road and playing a top 10 team in there place and you’ve got to play better and you’ve got to coach better when you get those opportunities and we just didn’t reach that elite level tonight.”
LSU will also hope to get star quarterback Jayden Daniels back this week after he left the loss to Alabama with an injury.
