LSU guard Curtis Givens has entered the Transfer Portal

LSU point guard Curtis Givens entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos has learned. Givens spent just one year with the Tigers.
Givens played 32 games as a freshman, averaging 18.2 minutes per game. He finished the season with 4.8 points per game, 1.7 rebounds per game, and 1.6 assists per game. Givens shot 26.9% from the floor and 24.6% from three-point range during his freshman campaign this past season.
As a member of the Class of 2024, Givens was a 4-star recruit out of Memphis (Tenn.) by way of Montverde Academy (Fla.). He was the No. 10 overall prospect in the state, the No. 10 point guard in the class and the No. 61 overall prospect in the class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
With LSU head coach Matt McMahon and his new-look staff shaking up the current roster while remaining active in the NCAA Transfer Portal, Givens becomes the seventh player to enter the portal this offseason.
