2025 Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre is one of the top quarterbacks in the country. LSU is hosting him once again for an unofficial visit, which begins Friday.
MacIntyre was at LSU for an extended visit earlier this spring, which impressed him. He was also in town for LSU’s upset over Alabama inside Tiger Stadium.
“It was great. That’s the most time I’ve spent at a university at one time,” MacIntyre told On3 after his visit. “I spent a lot of time with the coaching staff and players and it was fun. I would say how many people in Louisiana and Baton Rouge love and are very loyal to LSU stood out. It was crazy, really impressive for sure.”
Head coach Brian Kelly has a strong resume and shared why the Tigers are a great fit for him.
“Meeting we had with him, he was just selling LSU and everything he was saying is true. It sounds great,” MacIntyre said. “How great a place it is and the difference from when he was at Notre Dame and other places compared to LSU. The culture and how much they love football. How I can fit in their system and stuff like that.”

MacIntyre has LSU among his top schools. Programs like Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson, LSU, Alabama and Michigan are all in the mix. MacIntyre earned an offer on Wednesday from Clemson at camp after throwing for offensive coordinator Garrett Riley.
“They’re up there for sure,” he said of the LSU Tigers earlier this spring. “Probably one of the three schools recruiting me the hardest. They’re one of the schools that I want to recruit me. I’ve always watched LSU Football growing up so they’re doing a really good job right now.”
MacIntyre will also visit FIU, Tennessee, UCLA and Alabama (twice) this summer.
Tennessee leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction over Vanderbilt, Alabama and LSU. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, George MacIntyre ranks as the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the country.
