LSU makes Top 8 for elite OL Lamar Brown
LSU made the Top 8 schools for 2026 Baton Rouge (La.) U-High offensive lineman Lamar Brown, he announced on Christmas. Alabama, Florida A&M, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss and Tennessee made up the rest of the schools.
Brown has been a frequent visitor at nearby LSU since last fall and worked out for LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis and on the defensive line this summer at camp.
“I love them to death. They’re great coaches,” Brown said of LSU earlier this fall. “They’re some great coaches. They started with me early developing me, and it might be home by the time it’s my senior year.
“I like what I’m doing and I’m doing this without a trainer. I watch videos of things, anything I can to do better. Coach Brad taught me a lot and I get better each year. My stance, my base, keeping my eyes up … I learned a lot from him. He stays on you and he knows, and he knows I can be great and a great man as I get older.”
