LSU OT Zalance Heard enters NCAA Transfer Portal
LSU offensive tackle and former five-star Zalance Heard entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Tuesday, On3 has learned.
Heard made his first career start against Army this season while seeing action in all 12 games. The 6-6, 340-pound true freshman has seen time on both sides of LSU’s offensive line this year.
The Tigers faced Wisconsin in the ReliaQuest Bowl on New Year’s Day and Heard was not with the team. Brian Kelly’s squad still sealed up back-to-back 10-win seasons with the 35-31 win.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Heard was the No. 22 overall prospect in the country, No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation and No. 2 prospect in Louisiana.
