LSU-Texas A&M kickoff time, TV coverage announced
LSU will kick off its regular season finale at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday. The Tigers will look to finish up a one-loss SEC campaign with a win over the Aggies.
This weekend, thanks to Alabama’s win over Ole Miss and LSU beating Arkansas, the Tigers clinched an SEC West Championship. In Brian Kelly’s first season, LSU will face Georgia in Atlanta on Dec. 3 for an SEC crown.

It’ll take a lot to beat the No. 1 team in the country, but LSU is still growing. Kelly sees a team that’s learned how to win football games over the course of the year, which includes the 13-10 nail-biter in Fayetteville last weekend.
“Look, we’re far from a finished product. I don’t think anybody’s in there feeling like we’ve arrived. We’ve got a lot of work to do,” Kelly said. “During this journey, we’re still finding ways to win football games. I think I said this from the very beginning: the goal coming in to this year was to be better in November and to play hard and to teach this team how to win. Those were really — if you go back to my very first press conference — those were the tenants that I wanted to instill in this team. Those are there.
“They know how to win football games. That’s a great trait to have. They believe they’re going to win and they find a way to win. This is a perfect example of that.”

LSU faces UAB in Tiger Stadium for Senior Night
LSU closes out the regular season in Tiger Stadium this weekend at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2. The Blazers improved to 5-5, knocking off C-USA foe North Texas, 41-21.
“I am excited that we won the football game in a very difficult environment,” Kelly told reporters after the Arkansas game. “We’re in a different realm now. We’re being hunted and we’re going to get everybody’s best shot. They just — they understand that.
“We’ve got some things to work on and we’ll enjoy this victory and we’ll come back prepared for UAB and senior night.“
The Blazers held North Texas, who entered the game leading Conference USA in offense, to just 264 total yards, which was 239 under their season average.
