LSU to host 5-star QB Julian Sayin for unofficial visit
2024 Carlsbad (Calif.) quarterback Julian Sayin will unofficially visit LSU on June 12, he tells The Bengal Tiger. The five-star signal caller is set to take a Texas and Alabama visit as well after a busy spring of visits.
Sayin knows head coach Brian Kelly and special teams coordinator Brian Polian from their Notre Dame days. LSU quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan has been on him as of late though, checking him out in-person when he offered.
“With LSU, they produce. You see what they do when they get a top quarterback (Joe Burrow) too,” Julian Sayin told On3 earlier this month. “They went 14-0, they won the national championship, and they had a great offense. Now that I have been getting to know coach Sloan, that is great too. It was his first time coming out today, but we are building a good relationship and I would like to get back out for another visit.”
The No. 3 quarterback in the country may not be too far from a decision. He is not planning to take too many visits this summer because of team workouts in preparation for a big junior season, but this fall could be the time.
“I could commit around October. I am not cutting my list down, I am staying open until the decision, and I think I could do something this fall.”

On3 ranks him as the No. 47 overall prospect and sixth-ranked quarterback nationally.
Sayin has an On3 NIL Valuation of $137K, ranking as No. 85 overall in the On3 High School NIL football rankings. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college-level athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a specific moment in time.
