LSU is on the hunt for defensive tackles in the NCAA Transfer Portal, and one of the staff’s top target arrives to campus on Monday to begin his visit with the Tigers.

TCU defensive tackle Damonic Williams, the On3 Industry’s highest-ranked transfer portal defensive tackle who remains uncommitted, has LSU on his short list after hitting the portal during the spring window.

Williams kicked things off with a visit to Oklahoma, then took in a visit to Texas that wrapped up on Thursday. Following his departure from Austin, sources tell On3 the Longhorns are the team to beat – and there were shuffling to his plans that came from there.

Williams did not visit Colorado this past weekend despite initially having the Buffaloes on his schedule of planned trips.

Instead, Williams pressed the reset button. After initially planning to visit LSU over the weekend, the TCU transfer will now arrive at LSU on Monday.

Williams used the open weekend to visit Missouri, and now the talented transfer plans to announce his decision this week, sources tell The Bengal Tiger staff.
