The LSU Tigers will hit the road to face the Arkansas Razorbacks in a crucial SEC matchup on Saturday, Oct. 19. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on ESPN, the Southeastern Conferenced announced Monday.

This matchup, part of the historic “Battle for the Golden Boot,” always carries extra weight as both teams look to solidify their positions in the standings. Arkansas and LSU share a heated rivalry but LSU leads 42–23–2 in the history between the two schools but more recently the Tigers have defeated the Razorbacks seven of the last eight seasons.

With the Razorbacks coming off a big win over Tennessee last weekend, the team now gets to sit back this week and watch LSU host Ole Miss in Tiger Stadium prior to the game on the 19th. At 4-1 overall, LSU does have much room for error with the remainder of its schedule to make the College Football Playoff. Priority No. 1 will be the Rebels at home this weekend, then Brian Kelly & Co. will shift focus to Arkansas.
