Kyren Lacy 2 makes a catch in the endzone to score as the LSU Tigers take on Texas A&M in Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, November 25, 2023.

The LSU Tigers will square off against the Texas A&M Aggies in a SEC showdown on October 26 at Kyle Field in College Station. The game will be on ABC at 6:30 p.m. CT, the Southeastern Conference announced Saturday night.

The SEC driver’s seat is on the line in this primetime matchup. LSU and A&M are the only two undefeated teams remaining in SEC play.

With a long history between the two programs and both schools still in the College Football Playoff hunt, this game should be one of the most exciting matchups on the schedule for the final week of October as both teams are currently ranked inside the top 15 of the AP Top 25 poll.

The Aggies and Tigers have been hated rivals in the SEC since Texas A&M joined the conference in 2012, and while LSU leads the all-time series, the Aggies have been strong competitors in recent years, with the teams alternating wins and losses the last few seasons.

The rivalry has delivered memorable moments, including the unforgettable seven-overtime thriller in 2018, featuring Joe Burrow & Co. With both teams fighting for position in the SEC standings, this year’s contest will be no different as Mike Elko has the Aggies at 6-1 and at the top of the SEC standings.

LSU (6-1) defeated unranked Arkansas, 34-10, Saturday night in Fayetteville while Texas A&M beat Mississippi State.
