Nearly two weeks into the transfer portal’s 30-day window, the Tigers have had a fairly quiet start, but over the weekend picked up a pair of quality players who could contribute in 2024 on Brian Kelly’s team.

Shea Dixon and Matthew Brune are back to talk about everything LSU football is doing in the transfer portal and what the Tigers still need to show in the coming weeks as the college football landscape continues its massive shakeup in talent. Kelly has talked about player retention as being the key for him in this era, but at the same time, there are areas he’s made it clear need to be upgrades.

Jardin Gilbert and Zavion Thomas are the first two additions for LSU and there will be more on the way.

The Bengal Tiger’s Portal podcast is over a half hour long, meaning there’s plenty for LSU fans to take in. You can listen to the entire podcast on YouTube by streaming the episode on Spotify or Apple Music.
