Six LSU players set to play in 2025 Senior Bowl on Feb. 1
It’s a decorated list of participants in this year’s Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama and LSU is sending six of their own to play in the game and participate in the practices with NFL scouts on hand. that list includes tight end Mason Taylor, offensive lineman Emery Jones, wide receiver Kyren Lacy, offensive lineman Miles Frazier, offensive lineman Garrett Dellinger, and defensive end Sai’vion Jones.
Practices begin Jan. 28 and the game is on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 1:30 p.m.
Only Frazier and Hones played in LSU’s bowl win over Baylor on New Year’s Eve, while the rest continued to prepare for the NFL Draft.
Taylor ended his junior season with 55 receptions for 546 yards and two touchdowns, ending his career with 129 catches for 1,308 yards and six scores, cementing himself as the best tight end in LSU history.
Jones, Frazier, and Dellinger all spent the past three seasons contributing to LSU’s offensive line as starters and now look to cement their draft positions to get their shot in the NFL.
Lacy spent his first two years at Louisiana before transferring to LSU where he had a breakout 2024 season with 866 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games, proving that he has the potential to make it at the next level.

Jones is the only defensive player in this group, but he was a multi-year contributor on the defensive line with 29 starts under his belt and 99 tackles with 11.5 sacks. Jones has the flexibility necessary for the next level and is an impressive athlete out of St. James High School in Louisiana.
Last year, LSU had just two players in this game with Charles Turner and Jordan Jefferson. In 2023, LSU had Ali Gaye and Jay Ward play in Mobile.
This year’s game marks the first time in program history that LSU will send three offensive linemen to play in the contest. LSU has had 140 players take part in the Senior Bowl since the game was first played in 1950. Of LSU’s 140 Senior Bowl participants, 110 have gone on to be selected in the NFL Draft. Two former Tigers have earned Senior Bowl MVP honors – Jimmy Taylor in 1958 and Earl Gros in 1962.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 75 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL draft.
