LSU football kicks off spring practices on Tuesday, March 5, which marks the first of 15 practices that stretches from March to the Spring Game on April 13.
Following the 2023 season, head coach Brian Kelly chose to wipe the slate clean on defensive by firing all of the on-field staff.
Since then, Kelly and the Tigers have brought on a new defensive coordinator and a total of five new on-field defensive assistants.

The new-look staff will take the field with the team for the first time next week, and LSU welcomes double-digit early-enrollees from the 2024 signing class to a team that returns more than 50 scholarship players.
