The Bengal Tiger Tidbits: Coaches on the Road

The LSU football staff hit the road on Wednesday to recruit both in Louisiana and around the country.
With the Tigers on bye before next Saturday’s annual November matchup with Alabama, LSU head coach Brian Kelly split the open date up between practices and preparation, recruiting and time spent away from football.
As for time spent on the recruiting trail, Kelly will send the coordinators and assistants out to check in on high school prospects with both stops at schools and football games on Thursday and Friday.

“What we’re trying to accomplish is get with our committed players as much as we can and then our top (2024 targets) so this is a combination of 2023 and 2024 (recruiting),” Kelly said on Tuesday.
LSU Recruiting Coordinator Brian Polian is the first coach to hit the road, and he will check in on a Top 100 prospect who remains uncommitted ahead of the Early Signing Period in December.
Here are some tidbits on the staff’s efforts this week as LSU hits the recruiting trail.
