With Shea Dixon, Matthew Brune and Billy Embody on staff, The Bengal Tiger’s ability to gather scoop, deliver insight on the recruiting and team fronts and continue to grow thriving message board is unmatched in the market.
“I’ve known Shea for years from my time at LSU Rivals and NOLA.com, so it’s great to finally be on the same team covering LSU football and recruiting with one of the best in the business,” Boudwin said. “The Tigers are red-hot in recruiting right now with no signs of slowing down thanks to the all-star group of coaches and off-field personnel Brian Kelly has assembled. Joining the talented team at The Bengal Tiger and On3 was an easy decision, and I’m excited to be back on the beat!”
Roser, who has also launched the popular “Louisiana vs. All Y’all” product, has become one of Lousiana’s most-recognized names on the high school recruiting front with his wall-to-wall coverage of football prospects in the Bayou State. That’s included attending practices and games weekly, interviews on the Louisiana vs. All Ya’ll YouTube Page and much more.
“Helping spotlight the rich talent, personality and culture of Louisiana sports has been a constant passion going back to my own college days at LSU with Shea,” Roser said. “I am incredibly excited to work with him and the great team at The Bengal Tiger and On3 — innovative leaders in the market and the industry — and cover the alma mater’s athletics programs from the recruiting trail to the championship podiums.”

For The Bengal Tiger, Boudwin and Roser are a pair of hires that will bring fans to the next level when it comes to insight and knowledge of LSU recruiting and athletics.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled about getting the opportunity to work with both Julie Boudwin and Jerit Roser given it’s something we’ve talked about for more than a decade,” said The Bengal Tiger publisher Shea Dixon. “I have watched many great people come through the LSU team and recruiting beat since I arrived at LSU in 2004, and I can say with confidence that Julie and Jerit are two of the best I’ve seen.
“There commitment to bringing fans insight, scoop and memorable stories is driven by their passion for high school athletes, and the trust they have built through their reporting is very impressive. This is a day that I am confident that I will reflect back on as one of the biggest additions to our growing staff at The Bengal Tiger. With Julie and Jerit joining on with Matthew Brune, Billy Embody and myself, the sky is the limit for LSU coverage.”
Embody, who has worked alongside both Boudwin and Roser during his time on the LSU beat, echoed the same sentiments.
“Julie and Jerit are two of the hardest-working and well-connected reporters I’ve come across,” Embody said. “Both build genuine relationships with prospects and sources while spending plenty of time out to watching games, camps and more.
“This one has been a long time coming to get this entire crew together at the Bengal Tiger. I’m beyond pumped to now have them on the same team with us.”
LSU fans, buckle in. The best site for coverage of the Tigers just got even stronger.
