The Bengal Tiger welcomes Tyler Harden to the growing LSU team!
The Bengal Tiger staff continues to grow beyond the LSU news, scoop and opinions brought by Shea Dixon, Matthew Brune and Billy Embody.
To kick off the month of October, The Bengal Tiger and On3 announced the addition of two longtime LSU beat and recruiting writers with the latest additions of Julie Boudwin and Jerit Roser, who have both spent time working at both NOLA.com/The Times Picayune and Rivals, which gives The Bengal Tiger members a pair of trusted, well-known writers in the LSU community who both come with impressive resumes.
With Boudwin and Roser on The Bengal Tiger roster, more good news has arrived!
Now, The Bengal Tiger welcomes Tyler Harden, one of the fastest-rising recruiting and team writers on the LSU beat, to the staff as a recruiting writer.
Harden, a senior at LSU, has already established a presence in the recruiting world.
While finishing out his time in college, Harden has covered recruiting and multiple sports for The Reveille (LSU’s student newspaper), penned recruiting updates at Tiger Bait, and launched his own platform TTJH, which provides national recruiting updates on prospects and has amassed nearly 10,000 followers on Instagram.
Harden has also worked as a recruiting writer for Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, which has been recognized for decades as the go-to publication for high school and college intel in the Lone Star State.
“I love covering recruiting because I’m able to learn about so many different people from so many different backgrounds,” Harden said. “I’ve grown up around recruiting, I’ve traveled around Pennsylvania with my dad following some of the top recruits in the state. I’ve made so many memories and friendships around recruiting, and have also been to places I never thought I would see. It’s something I hold near and dear to my heart, and always will.
“Joining The Bengal Tiger and On3 gives me an opportunity to show my love for recruiting on a large platform. I’m excited to join the team and get started!

“I feel we’ve built a great foundation at The Bengal Tiger with the work done by Billy Embody, Matthew Brune and myself, but the goal has always been to grow our LSU community, and in turn grow a staff of trusted names who shared a common goal of bringing Tigers fans recruiting and team coverage through hard work, consistency and trusted voices,” The Bengal Tiger Publisher Shea Dixon said.
“When we started to talk about growing the site’s staff, Julie Boudwin and Jerit Roser were the two names on top of the list. From there, we wanted to find someone who was ready to take those next steps by getting his work out to both an LSU and national audience, and the first talks between Billy and myself centered around the work done by Tyler Harden.
“This staff is built around people who got their start covering LSU recruiting and the team beats while in college, and with Harden in his final year at LSU, we felt it was the perfect fit to add Harden as another piece to provide recruiting updates and intel for The Bengal Tiger family.”
Added Embody: “Tyler‘s been a grinder for a long time now. He’s always had clear passion for the recruiting industry and following high school football. He brings a tremendous network of sources and one that’ll only grow in his new role at the Bengal Tiger. Very excited to have him on the team and to see what’s next in his growth.
As we said a week ago when Julie and Jerit joined the family: LSU fans, buckle in. The Bengal Tiger, the best site for trusted recruiting and team coverage of the Tigers, just got even stronger.
