The Gambling Lines: No. 14 LSU vs. No. 8 Alabama

No. 14 LSU travels to No. 8 Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 4 for a 6:45 p.m. CT matchup as part of the annual CBS double-header.
Both programs have SEC West title implications on the line, with the Tigers entering the game at 4-1 in conference play, while the Tide remain undefeated in-conference at 5-0.
Here’s a look at the updated spread, over/under and moneyline for Saturday’s matchup between LSU and Alabama.
The LSU vs. Alabama Spread
Spread (Nov. 2): Alabama -3
The line opened it Alabama -4.5, but has since gone down to the Tide as a field goal favorite. Given it’s a home game for Alabama, the Tide laying three points views the game as one that could be a pick-em on a neutral field.
Both LSU and Alabama are 5-3 against the spread this season. Ahead of Saturday’s matchup, both teams have been favored in every game this season.
The Over/Under and Moneyline
The over/under (Nov. 2): 61.5
LSU’s played eight games this season, and the Tigers have hit the over in every game. The streak stayed alive when the Tigers eclipsed the 60-point mark on a long touchdown run in the final minute of a 62-0 win over Army before the bye week. LSU remains the only team in college football to hit the over in every game this season, thanks in large part to a combination of the NCAA’s No. 1 scoring offense and a scoring defense that’s ranked outside the Top 75 nationally. Alabama has hit the over five times and fallen short of the mark twice.
