The LSU football staff has been battling Ohio State for the No. 1 recruiting class for the 2025 cycle, and the newest update to the On300 Rankings was a good one for the Tigers.

LSU still has a trio of commitments from prospects ranked No. 1 at their respective position, a group that includes the No. 1 quarterback, running back and wide receiver.

During February’s On300 update, the Tigers had seven commitments make the list.

Now, April’s On300 update has LSU with double-digit prospects on the list as 10 commitments were ranked No. 226 or higher.

With 12 total commits, all currently ranked as 5-stars or 4-stars on the On3 Industry Rankings, here’s the rundown on On3’s rankings for LSU’s 10 commitments in the newest On300, which is highlighted by the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 11 prospects in America.

QB Bryce Underwood – No. 1 overall … Underwood remained as On3’s No. 1 overall prospect in America, giving the LSU staff a verbal pledge from the highest-ranked recruit in the 2025 class. Underwood, who committed to the Tigers in January, has maintained he’s locked in with LSU after Baton Rouge visits in both March and April.

WR Dakorien Moore – No. 3 overall … The No. 1 wide receiver in America remains Moore, who popped for LSU ahead of his junior season at Duncanville. Moore, who stayed put as the No. 3 overall recruit in the country, is being courted by the likes of Texas, Ohio State, Oregon and more, but he told On3’s Chad Simmons that he remains firm with his pledge to LSU.

RB Harlem Berry – No. 11 overall … LSU has a trio of commitments ranked as 5-stars on the On3 Industry Rankings, with Berry checking in on the On3 Top 300 as the No. 1 running back in America and the top-ranked prospect in Louisiana. Once the rankings expand again (currently On3 ranks 10 5-stars, but expands to 32 by the final rankings), Berry will be an On3 5-star ahead of his senior season next fall.

OL Tyler Miller – No. 38 overall … Miller remains an On3 outlier in the rankings as the lone service to the Mississippi native in the Top 50, while Rivals ranks Miller outside the Top 100, while he sits outside the Top 200 on both 247Sports and ESPN. Miller is still one of the highest-ranked offensive linemen regardless of position, though it’s worth noting a big rise from LSU target Carius Curne, who checks in at No. 25 as the highest-ranked interior offensive lineman. Curne recently backed off his Arkansas commitment following a visit to LSU, while Miller popped for the Tigers on March 17.

CB Jaboree Antoine – No. 62 overall … Antoine’s On3 ranking remains firmly inside the Top 100 as a Top 10 cornerback in the 2025 class, and he’s got the versatility to play nickel and even safety. The Westgate High star is ranked as Louisiana’s No. 2 overall prospect, and he held onto the same spot as the nation’s No. 7 cornerback.

OL Devin Harper – No. 98 overall … Harper made the biggest jump of all LSU’s commitments (at the time) during February’s rankings update, going from outside the Top 200 as the nation’s No. 14 interior offensive lineman all the way into the Top 100 and the No. 7 interior offensive line prospect in the class. In the most recent On300 update, Harper didn’t move at all – sticking at No. 98 overall as the No. 3 prospect in the Bayou State.

RB JT Lindsey – No. 158 overall … Lindsey made a massive jump in February’s On300 update when the Louisiana native went from unranked to a 4-star On300 prospect and the No. 11 running back in the country. This past weekend, Lindsey committed to LSU after receiving a verbal scholarship offer earlier in the week. In April’s On300 update, Lindsey remained a 4-star and the No. 11 running back in the 2025 class. Now, the Tigers have commitments from the No. 1 and No. 11 running backs in America.

LB Charles Ross – No. 180 overall … Moving on up, yet again… Ross was another big riser in February’s On300 update when he debuted as a 4-star and On300 recruit. After putting together some head-turning track times, including a wind-legal 10.48 100-meter dash, Ross rose again on On3. Now, the LSU linebacker moved inside the Top 200 – jumping nearly 100 spots – as the No. 180 overall prospect. He also soared from the No. 27 linebacker to the No. 18 linebacker in the 2025 class.

TE JD LaFleur – No. 199 overall … Another big jump during February’s On300 update came from LaFleur, who moved from No. 234 overall into the Top 200. LaFleur had previously been ranked as On3’s No. 15 tight end prospect, but following a strong junior season, the LSU commitment moved up to the No. 11 tight end in the country. With April’s update, LaFleur is still ranked as the No. 11 tight end in the 2025 class.

WR TaRon Francis – No. 226 overall … Francis moved up more than 10 spots in April’s On300 update, staying put as a four-star, a Top 250 prospect and the No. 1 wide receiver in the state of Louisiana. With Francis and Moore on board, LSU has commitments in from the No. 1 wide receivers in both Louisiana and Texas.
