Former LSU DB Tre'Davious White returning to Buffalo Bills

Tre’Davious White appears headed back to his professional roots in 2025.
The former LSU cornerback has reportedly reached a one-year deal worth up to $6.8 million to return to Buffalo, where the 2017 first-round pick spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career.
ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter was the first to report the news Thursday evening, citing agents Kevin Conner and Robert Brown.
“Conner and Bills general manager Brandon Beane made progress on a new deal during the league meetings, and then closed it out today,” Schefter shared further.
White was a decorated playmaker and leader in his first tenure in Buffalo, including 2017 All-Rookie Team and 2019 and 2020 All-Pro honors, before being hampered by injuries in recent seasons and ultimately being released in a cost-cutting move last summer.
The Shreveport native joined the Los Angeles Rams in 2024, but played just four games for the team before later being sent to the Baltimore Ravens at the November trade deadline.
He finished his eighth career season with 24 tackles in 13 total games, including a pair of playoff games.
