WATCH: 5-star WR Dakorien Moore dominates Week 1
2025 Duncanville (Tex.) wide receiver Dakorien Moore was one of the stories of Week 1 across the country. The five-star prospect totaled seven passes for 281 yards and three scores as his team beat up on Dallas (Tex.) South Oak Cliff.
“It’s something that we’ve already been looking forward to,” Moore told On3. “I had a lot of bombs and deep balls last year. They know my speed, they know my athleticism. I know I might be getting doubled, might be 10-20 yards back. It ain’t nothing new. I’m still going to play ball and have fun with it.

“I know for a fact I’m the best receiver in this class.”
Moore and the Panthers are off to a great start toward another state championship run.
“I’d say we’re definitely trying to go 15-0 again. We want another one,” he said. “It’s even more this year because we want to get Samp (Duncanville coach Reginald Samples) two of them before he retire. He’s getting a little older. We want to do it one more time before he leaves.”
Moore, an LSU commit, is ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect and the No. 2 wide receiver prospect on the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
