LSU head coach Brian Kelly, who is battling to stay undefeated in night games at Tiger Stadium, had some praise for Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin. Kiffin’s notoriety in college football is good for the game, he said.
“I just think you have to look at how many followers he has on Twitter. I mean I think that today — he’s got a blue check mark, doesn’t he? Isn’t that how you’re regarded?” Kelly asked. “Lane has a positive outlook on the game and he certainly has been a central figure in college football. He can poke fun at himself and others, and I think he’s good for college football.”

Kiffin’s Rebels left points out there in the SEC contest in the 1st half against LSU, which led to Kiffin telling ABC that he felt good despite just a 17-13 lead at half. After the 1st quarter, he felt similar.
“So, to be 0-0 with all the mistakes, I like the feel of this game,” Kiffin told ABC. “I like how we’re playing. I feel like a much better team right now. But we’re not finishing the plays.”
Now, it’s time for overtime to decide who takes home the win between LSU-Ole Miss.
