2024 LSU quarterback commit Colin Hurley wrapped up his final spring practices with Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian facing Fletcher. Check out the impressive clips below as Hurley got a bit of work in before the 2nd unit took over.

The Tigers reeled in the four-star prospect this fall as he reclassified from 2025 to 2024. He’s been a key recruiter for the 2024 class since announcing his intentions to head to Baton Rouge. Offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan were in attendance for his spring game.

Hurley is the No. 256 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 15 quarterback and the No. 38 prospect in state of Florida.

This month, he earned an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals after competing in Oxford (Miss.) at the regional stop for the prestigious fraternity. The event, which will celebrate its 24rd year in 2023, brings together the country’s elite signal-callers for three days of competition and training in Los Angeles in June. He just wrapped up an impressive showing at the QB Retreat camp last weekend.

Hurley leading LSU’s push for 5-star WR

Hurley is 7-on-7 teammates with Phenix City (Ala.) Central five-star wideout Cam Coleman, who is set to officially visit LSU in June. It’s been no secret that he wants the No. 1 prospect in Alabama to leave the state and play for the Tigers.

“Cam knows how much I respect and admire his game,” Hurley said earlier this spring. “I’ve made it no secret that I feel LSU is unequivocally, the best fit for him. It’s the SEC. It’s close to home. It’s good weather. It’s Death Valley. It’s a great fan base. It’s a WR Mecca. It’s Coach Brian Kelly. It’s LSU Football. And it will be me throwing him the ball.

“He’s being pursued by a lot of programs, and rightfully so; however, LSU is special and it’s different. I also feel there are some talented QBs in the ‘24 Class and I respect them, but I bring a different type of arm and skill set. Cam knows me. He knows my arm talent is unmatched in velocity, accuracy, touch and timing. He and I have already developed some chemistry and connection together, so there’s a good relationship there too.”
