WATCH: LSU's QB group kicks off spring practices
The LSU football team kicked off spring practices on Thursday in Baton Rouge.
LSU head coach Brian Kelly put the Tigers through a light practice on Day 1, and the media were allowed in to observe the first 20 minutes of individual drills.
That gave us a chance to get a first look at LSU’s new quarterback room.
Senior Jayden Daniels and sophomore Garrett Nussmeier are the two returning scholarship quarterbacks, while early-enrollee and former four-star Rickie Collins is the new name in the group.
With the departure of Walker Howard to Ole Miss, Collins is able to get third-team reps.
