Will Campbell remains in Top 10 of ESPN's Mock Draft as LSU's lone first-round prospect
LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell remains as one of the top prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft, landing at No. 10 in ESPN’s latest mock draft by Jordan Reid. Campbell, the lone Tiger projected to go in the first round is this mock draft variation, is slotted to the Chicago Bears as the second offensive tackle off the board.
Texas standout Kelvin Banks Jr. leads the position group, going No. 4 in the mock draft.
Reid highlighted Campbell’s potential impact for a Bears team led by former No. 1 overall pick quarterback Caleb Williams: “Let’s protect Caleb Williams, shall we? The Bears have a big decision at head coach, but at the very least, protect the franchise quarterback so he can actually find the playmakers on this offense. Is this the only piece Chicago needs to get to the postseason next year? No, but it’ll certainly help Williams by getting one of the best offensive linemen in the draft class.”
Reid’s Top 10 looks like: No. 1 Cam Ward to the Tennessee Titans, No. 2 Shedeur Sanders to the Cleveland Browns, No. 3 Travis Hunter to the New York Giants, No. 4 Kelvin Banks Jr. to the New England Patriots, No. 5 Will Johnson to the Jacksonville Jaguars, No. 6 Abdul Carter to the Las Vegas Raiders, No. 7 Mason Graham to the New York Jets, No. 8 Mykel Williams to the Carolina Panthers, No. 9 Tetairoa McMillan to the New Orleans Saints and No. 10 Will Campbell to the Chicago Bears.
The 6-foot-6, 323-pound standout has consistently been ranked and mock-drafted as one of the top offensive lineman — and, more often than not, the No. 1 lineman — by several outlets and a top-10 overall pick.
Campbell arrived to Baton Rouge in 2022 after a decorated high school career at Neville, immediately earned the starting role and has been a leader for LSU ever since.

“There aren’t enough words to describe the impact LSU, the Baton Rouge community and the state of Louisiana has had on my life,” the three-year starter said on social media when announcing his NFL decision. “Over the past three years, I was blessed to live out my childhood dream of being an LSU Tiger. I give all the glory to God for these opportunities.”
His message also thanked his coaches, LSU staff and teammates, the fan base and his family.
“After much prayer and discussion with my family, I will forego my final year of eligibility at LSU and declare for the 2025 NFL Draft. I will always cherish my team at LSU. Thank you, Tiger Nation. Forever LSU.”
