ANALYSIS: Miami likely to end season without facing a top 25 opponent … but that doesn’t mean road ahead is easy
Well, so much for that hyped game between top-ranked teams at Louisville. Because the Cardinals dropped their second game in a row over the weekend against SMU, falling out of the top 25. Miami now faces no teams that are ranked, with a quirk in the schedule having three other ranked ACC teams just not opponents this year – No. 11 Clemson, No. 24 Pitt, No. 25 SMU. In the “others receiving votes” section the Canes also aren’t facing Virginia (7 votes).
