WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Don’t miss what coach Mario Cristobal and new coordinator Corey Hetherman were talking about yesterday, as they break down their visions for what’s ahead. There was the news that William Vlachos, who worked with Cristobal at Alabama, was also added as an offensive line analyst.
There’s our position by position breakdowns as well, including all the new portal pieces. Today we are taking a close look at a running backs position that is stacked with talent despite Damien Martinez’s departure.
We also continue our annual 30 for 30 countdown with the team’s top 30 players who played 30 or more reps. Check out our latest player on the countdown with an in-depth look at DT Justin Scott.
In recruiting? There was, of course, the breaking news last night that Miami landed its first commitment in the Class of 2027, American Heritage’s Ah’Mari Stevens. We talk with Stevens about his decision, so check that out.

We also catch up with Bradenton (Fla.) Berkley Prep four-star offensive tackle Johnnie Jones. He got a UM visit at school and updates the latest.
Another update? Clayton (N.C.) four-star top-250 defensive lineman Keshawn Stancil hasn’t visited Miami since the Hurricanes’ game against Duke in early November, but as he prepares for his trip to Coral Gables this weekend, he’s holding plenty of interest in the Hurricanes. Findo ut about that.
And in basketball the team faces a top Duke team tonight, and Bill Courtney shares his thoughts.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Our New DC Corey Needs … Posted by coscane
To hire some of his own coaches
That’s a fact
Mix matching coaches don’t work
Look at the last previous staffs
First he brought some Vets who had thier own image
Second he hired another DC without his own personal
Both DC was a failure , can’t blame it all on them
U need open space for some of his one or two players he wants , maybe from his old team or recruit
Like I said you need to bring some or something valuable
I guess Mario is learning the hard way
But I guess he is getting it
So I give him his props pointing out his failures
Canes first everything else after
Love My Canes
