CaneSport Live will be broadcast tonight at 8 PM (EDT) with CaneSport Publisher Gary Ferman, Matt Shodell, Bruce Warner and you the fans as guests. So be sure to tune in for that.

This morning on day 2 of the New Year we take a closer look at 10 players that need to step up for Miami in 2025, with an analysis of each.

We also had a closer look at a DC that would make sense for Miami, Tennessee’s Tim Banks.

And there’s the news that the Branch brothers from USC will be visiting UM.

In recruiting we have an update with New Albany (Miss.) four-star 2026 offensive tackle Emanuel Tucker, who has a high interest level in Miami.

We also have your coach’s take closer look at Plantation (Fla.) West Broward four-star 2025 receiver and Miami signee Joshua Moore.

Plus the baskeball team lost a 19-point lead at BC and fell in interim coach Bill Courtney’s first game, 78-68.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

(Joshua Moore via Izubee Charles)

“Whenever he’d see someone who’s pressed on him or he has a safety over the top, he already knows what to tell the quarterback to run. But now in college they can really fine tune that, and I can’t wait for that, because this kid, he’s just a hard-working kid, and the sky’s the limit for this guy.”
