First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We continue our annual 30 for 30 countdown with the team’s top 30 players who played 30 or more reps. Today we take a look at No. 20, Markell Bell, so make sure to check that out. 

On the recruiting front, we have plenty for you, starting with an update on Cecilia (La.) four-star athlete Braylon Calais, who has visited the Miami Hurricanes three times, and on each trip, he has left Coral Gables more impressed than before.

Staying in the 2027 class, we have an update on one of the top prospects in the class, DeSoto (Tex.) four-star wide receiver Boobie Feaster, who is the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2027 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Sticking in the Lone Star State, DeSoto (Tex.) High four-star ATH Myson Johnson-Cook talks about his recent offer from Miami and why it was one he’s been eagerly waiting for.

In South Florida, we have an update on Miami (Fla.) Central three-star 2026 linebacker Karon Maycock who has visited Miami four times in the last five months, including last weekend for the Hurricanes’ annual Junior Day.

Also, in-state, we talked with IMG Academy four-star EDGE Jake Kreul who is hoping to narrow down his list of schools after the January contract period ends. And he’s already planning to include Miami. 

Our last in-state recruiting story comes from Orlando (Fla.) The First Academy four-star 2026 interior offensive lineman Chancellor Barclay who was also on campus this weekend.
