First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We continue our annual 30 for 30 countdown with the team’s top 30 players who played 30 or more reps. Today we take a look at No. 18, Damari Brown.

In recruiting, we have the latest on rising 2026 St. Frances Academy offensive lineman Edward Baker, who recently got a visit from Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal. From the Lone Star State, we talk with Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star Chris Stewart, who recently received an offer from Miami and is hoping to visit Coral Gables in the spring. 

Also make sure to check out five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys, who listed Miami amongst his top-12 schools.

For our next recruiting update, we jump to the 2027 class, where we talk with Oak Ridge (Tenn.) 2027 tight end Malik Howard who did not know much about the Miami Hurricanes before his recent visit but is eager to learn more about the program after receiving an offer this past weekend. Another emerging tight end is Lakota East 2026 prospect PJ MacFarlane out of the Midwest, who the Canes recently offered as well.

“I like Miami, and it was great to see the facilities down there, and it was very good,” Howard said. “It’s great to see how they’ve come up the last few years and flipped the switch and are becoming one of the better teams in the country. Them being on that upward trajectory is definitely intriguing.”
