In recruiting?

Miami is keeping tabs on Ole Miss three-star 2025 receiver commit Samari Reed, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wideout who committed to the Rebels July 4 over programs including West Virginia, Penn State and Kentucky. The Hurricanes didn’t have extensive communication with Reed this spring but hosted him for Friday’s conference opener against Virginia Tech. Find out where things stand now.

Plus we catch up with Cincinnati (Ohio) Lakota West four-star tight end Luka Gilbert. The Miami commit updates the latest going on with him.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

How Mario & Staff handle this week and trip to Cali will be a real test of the Football Program … Posted by ShelbyFan

It will be interesting to see how the entire staff handle coming off a really brutal game then turn around and fly to California and play a game at almost Midnight East Coast Time will be a strong sense of how far this program has come. The one great plus it is 2 weeks before to going to Louisville. How the team responds next Saturday night will be a unknown until the final score. I Trust Mario and the entire Program. However this is biggest trap game of the year. You go to California and kick *** and take names and I think UM has a special season brewing but go out there and look tired and not into it and it could go bad fast.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Rueben Bain pregame looked great, at the edge right here and we chose the route to guarantee his well-being, health as best we could. Rueben is a go this week and Jalen (Rivers) will be a gametime decision.”
