MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Two year trend? … Posted by Hooracane

Last year around this time, we started to slow down on offense. Many blame TVD which was definitely a factor; however, can it be Dawson’s play calling as well? Teams adjust as the year goes on. The Cal game will be very revealing to me in that it will either show us that Friday was a “bad” showing or it will show that other teams are starting to adjust to our schemes. If we struggle again against Cal that will be a concern to me. Yes…yes…I know we aren’t going to blow every team out but let’s face it…Cal is another average ACC team. If we are who we think we are, we should return to form and win comfortably. If we struggle again, this year will be a white knuckle ride every week.

“Really up to this point I’ve been a sponge, soaking up all the game I can from (coaches). Whatever they throw out there, I’m able to soak it up. and take advantage of every opportunity that’s thrown my way.”
