WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Well, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

You can check out a couple of our Thanksgiving related stories this morning. Matt Shodell shares five things Miami fans can be thankful for today, and Izubee Charles looks at some recent recruiting battles that the Hurricanes can likewise give thanks for.

And if you missed The Lamar Thomas Show last night, it’s not too late to tune in. Be sure to check that out.

Also watch U Bet CaneSport with renowned local handicapper Lee Sterling breaking down the University of Miami-Wake Forest game and other top college contests this weekend.

In recruiting we catch up with Orlando (Fla.) The First Academy 2027 offensive tackle Reed Ramsier. Miami became the first ACC program to offer him, and Ramsier shares his thoughts.

We also have an update with Miami (Fla.) Northwestern four-star 2026 wide receiver Calvin Russell. This fall, communication between Russell and the Hurricanes has remained strong as the local program works to keep him home.

Plus Los Angeles (Calif.) Oaks Christian four-star EDGE Hayden Lowe’s sudden decision to flip from USC to Miami earlier this month caught plenty of fans off guard. But two weeks after flipping his commitment, the No. 113 overall prospect and No. 12 EDGE thinks he made the right choice. Get that update.

There’s also our weekly tracking the commits feature with stats and highlights.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

What will the team do differently vs 2017 Pitt game? … Posted by CANESCANESCANESCANES

Is Miami going to be focused on the game and the massive stakes at hand instead of getting caught up with Thanksgiving dinner this week?

This is monumental stakes at hand…What a shame it would be to lay an egg this weekend after the season this team has had…

Hope the coaches and players are locked in and not playing grab *** in the hotel like the 2017 was doing before that Pitt game

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“No matter what happens with the end of Miami’s season, it’s always good to be better than Florida State, right? Those annoying Seminoles fans you work with or are friends with don’t have a heck of a lot of gloating to do anymore, do they. The Canes are the king of the State of Florida this year, so let’s enjoy that today. And maybe send your FSU fans a little Happy Thanksgiving message with some Cane flavor to it. Like hey, maybe they should consider switching and rooting for a team that actually wins some games?”
