MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

11 Seed Question… Posted by Free_shave

What IF Georgia actually gets blown out? Call it 2+ touchdowns or more.

it seems that bama’s primary anchor is the Georgia win. It’s at least big enough consideration to ignore the Vandy and OU losses! If Georgia gets blown out in SEC championship with them also going 8 OTs with a tough GA Tech team, does that possibly diminish the weight of Bama’s win over GA (regressed 3 loss team)? Do you think it is possible for the committee to reconsider if Bama’s resume still has the edge over Miami in this scenario? Just wonder if this would weaken bama’s case enough for Miami to possibly take #11. Of course, SMU would still win.

With this system being so new, I wonder what kind of chaos could be ahead with no reference for past yet.
