WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We continue our pre-spring practice closer position-by-position look, and today we’re up to a spot that perhaps has the most question marks on the entire team – wide receiver. Find out the deal there.
We also continue “Message Board Mania” week, and today we’re honing in on AtlantaDan’s take that the odds-makers might be a bit off with their 9-10 win prediction for Miami’s win total in 2025.
Then there’s a closer look at Carson Beck and where he ranks nationally … No. 3, per Pro Football Focus.
In recruiting?
More updates there.
Miami is continuing to impress Jackson (Minn.) 2026 four-star ATH Roman Voss, the No. 85 overall prospect in the On300 and No. 5 ATH in the cycle as well as the No. 1 prospect in the state. Voss and his family are looking to take a spring visit to Coral Gables and potentially take an official visit.

There’s an update with Venice (Fla.) four-star 2026 ATH Asharri Charles as well – he’s set up his UM OV and breaks things down. Also setting up his Miami visit: Orlando (Fla.) The First Academy three-star 2026 cornerback and former North Carolina commit Danny Odem. Find out what he’s saying.
We also catch up with Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances three-star 2026 cornerback Hakim Satterwhite. he took his first visit to Miami and was wowed by what he saw from the Hurricanes. That first impression and consistent communication has led to Satterwhite setting an official visit with the Canes from June 13-15. Get his thoughts.
Plus there’s a basketball update with interim head coach Bill Courtney to check out.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
My take on Emory Williams … Posted by OB cane
Outside of the bowl game i liked Emory tough decent arm etc. he was working with a small play book in all the games. Unfortunately certainly didn’t look like starter in bowl game. I would like to see him stick here.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I mean, it’s The U. I have a great relationship with the coaches, and it’s a great school with an even better environment. I want to go down there and see campus again because I loved my time down there last time.”
