WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

There was your Jai Lucas introductory press conference yesterday, and we had you fully covered with his vision for the Miami basketball program. We also spoke with former coach Jim Larranaga for his take on the hire … and talked to current players. So don’t miss all that. There’s also an update on a potential portal target, Mister Dean.

This morning we also take a closer look at what now needs to happen in Week 2 of Miami Hurricanes spring practice and beyond as the team’s enjoying spring break.

In recruiting? Be sure to check out Chad Simmons sharing his latest intel on some top targets that may be leaning Miami’s way.

And we have individual updates for you.

check out our coach’s take on recent Miami commit, Mineral City (Ohio) Tuscarawas Valley four-star offensive tackle Ben Congdon.

Plus we catch up with Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit four-star linebacker Kaden Henderson, who visited Miami for the first time. It’s safe to say the Hurricanes made a strong impression on the elite 2027 prospect.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Bain and Mesidor were both fantastic a few years ago at end. Bain gained bad weight as he was injured and out of shape most of the year last year. Mesidor was out of position. They are primed for big seasons and are the absolute least of my worries.
