WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
There was, of course, all your news from the practice field yesterday including video of the action, highlights from the media portion as well as post-practice stories with players and coach Mario Cristobal sharing their thoughts.
In basketball we brought you the news that Miami landed its first big transfer target in Virginia Tech’s Lynn Kidd. So check that out.
There also was the baseball team’s ninth inning heroics with a walkoff home run from Jack Scanlon in a 3-2 win over No. 3 Clemson. Read the recap/reaction off of that.
We also continue to bring you recruiting news, starting with Port St. Lucie (Fla) Vero Beach four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford previewing his Saturday announcement as he is set to choose between Miami, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida, UCF, and Tennessee.

There also were key visitors yesterday we update. Homestead (Fla.) four-star 2025 receiver Cortez Mills, who has made a habit of visiting Miami recently, was one. Also on hand that we caught up with was Miami (Fla.) Central four-star receiver Nae’shaun Montgomery. It was his first Canes spring visit so don’t miss his feedback. And Miami (Fla.) Central four-star safety Amari Wallace’s appearance in Coral Gables came as a surprise to many. Find out more about that. Also on campus was Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star ATH Bryant Junius – it was his first time at UM.
Plus Ruston (La.) defensive back Aidan Anding will be visiting Miami for the first time tomorrow and breaks things down heading into the visit.
And there was the news that PG Nijel Pack will return for Miami’s basketball team for a final season, a big deal as the Canes try to turn things around off a rough season.
As always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
The only position we need in the portal is… Posted by Trust
Cornerback. We could use an impact CB! Maybe another safety. But that’s it. Our WRs look really good. Horton, Kirk, Jo-Jo will all contribute and all can make plays. And X n JG will kill it once again. Ray Ray, Robbie, Ny, Chance, all are studs. And I’m praying Chris Johnson, Ajay Allen and Citizen carry the load at RB. You would see the most dominant offense we have had since 2002. Every other position is good, or loaded!
