WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Well, the team returned to the practice field yesterday, and we had all your feedback afterward with coordinators Corey Hetherman and Shannon Dawson sharing their thoughts. So don’t miss that, and note that the Spring Game is upcoming tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Cobb Stadium (it won’t be televised).
Sticking with the Spring Game theme, we take a look this morning at the 5 offensive players and 5 defensive players with the most to prove tomorrow. So don’t miss that.
In recruiting? Our coverage starts with our Inside Canes Recruiting Podcast breaking down where things stand, including Miami high in the mix for the No. 1 overall prospect. And we also have an update on him – that would be Nixa (Mo.) Five-Star Plus+ offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. He could make a decision sooner than later, and we have the latest with him and Miami.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Shannon Dawson … Posted by TPatterson21
This is a big year for Dawson. We have seen him with TVD and Cam. Time to see what he has with another player that has shown high level ability, and at times be of the best programs in the country
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“His football IQ is really high, he’s played a lot of football. When you talk to him about plays, the regurgitation of plays in the meeting room you can tell he’s played a lot of football. Also his personality comes out over time. He’s a guy that once you spend a lot of time around him and get to know him he’s a funny guy to be around, his personality comes out. … His rapport with the group, his interaction – I like to watch people ingrain in the group. He’s done a really good job of building relationships with people in a fast way.”
