WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
It’s all about the Spring Game! We had you fully covered with Saturday’s game at Cobb Stadium, from detailing the action that went on including highlights, what Mario Cristobal and players said afterward and our perspective on how it all went plus a photo gallery. There was also recruiting feedback, of course, with top prospects watching on.
You can check out Gary Ferman and Matt Shodell’s overall thoughts coming off spring ball, too, and Ferman answers all your post-spring questions in The War Room.
Plus we have an inside look at the decision ahead for QB Emory Williams as he weighs whether to stay or go.
Plus this morning we have your Spring Awards, noting various players that stood out in different categories.
In recruiting? We had plenty of recruiting news off the weekend visitors in our comprehensive notebook, and also catch up with 5-Star LSU Commit Tristen Keys, 4-Star WR Somourian Wingo, FSU 4-star LB commit Karon Maycock and 4-star WR Jase Mathews. Plus we have an Inside Canes Recruiting podcast with Stephen Wagner and Izubee Charles breaking down all the news off the spring game visits.

And in addition to the spring game visit updates, we also catch up with another top target, four-star WR Messiah Hampton, for where things now stand with him.
There’s also our coach’s take on Jonesboro (Ga.) four-star cornerback and Miami commit Jontavius Wyman. Don’t miss what he brings to the table for the Canes.
There also was the baseball weekend series against Duke – you can check out our recaps of those games.
And we catch up with former Cane Kyshawn George, who just wrapped up his rookie campaign in Miami against the Heat, which was a bit of a full-circle moment.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Do we roll with Trader, CJ, Toney, Moore, Upshaw, Carr? … Posted by MIA6CANE
With Lofton, and our current TE room?
this is an interesting debate. Interested to see what Miami does in the transfer portal to improve the team. They could choose to NOT add a wide receiver…. Seems like we need to spend on an impact safety. Possibly LB. I still don’t understand Horton’s story at DT.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

You stay true to the program, make the decisions that are best for the program. Told you the other day, everybody is in the portal, the portal is always open. So it all depends on what you are going to accept, where you draw the line in your program. Once you allow that to happen, prepare for a line of 80 guys doing the same thing. We’re not going to do that at Miami, and I say that without any hesitation. If anyone’s thinking that — and they could be the best player in the world — if they want to play holdout, they might as well play get out. We don’t want to do that, and we don’t want Miami to become that. Too many guys have sweat and bled and laid it on the line on that field to ever become that kind of program.
