Another update is with Ruston (La.) cornerback Aidan Anding. He has quickly turned from a little-known 5-foot-11 prospect into one of the more sought-after cornerbacks in the 2025 cycle. And as summer official visits approach, a handful of schools are standing out including the Canes.

In basketball news we catch up with Sugar Land (Texas) Clements G Divine Ugochukwu, who committed to the Canes. He shares a big reason for the decision and more.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Some experts disagree with us … Posted by OB cane

Just saw a playoff prediction with FSU as number 3 and us not even in the running. While I disagree because I think there qb is what he has been the last 3 years mediocre. But despite losing a lot of good players clearly a lot of people think they reloaded. Norvell seems like he has figured out the portal before a lot of other coaches. Is it sustainable no clue but we need to keep up with player development and getting quality portal players. I personally think they may lose 2-3 games but they still are ahead of us right now we need to catch up and pass them quickly,

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Divine is a great young prospect out of Houston who had a tremendous senior season. He is a high-IQ point guard with elite athleticism and a great feel for the game. We are very excited to add a player like Divine to our freshman class.”
