MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Will Miami have a player with 10 sacks this year? … Posted by GOCANES

I think No to one guy with 10… however I think we can get elite pressure on the QB as a team… that starts at 30-32 sacks as a team… there were 9 teams last year with 40 sacks led by penn st at 49 sacks… with the combo of guys we have and the schedule I believe we can get between 35-40 sacks as a team led by one or two guys with 7-9 sacks individually … that would be elite pressure in my eyes

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I had to realize what makes him Cam Ward and what makes him special. Once I kind of realized that and figured out ways to make him better at what he does, we kind of took off from there. I think that’s why we work so well together. Just being able to understand that we want to clean up something, but just being able to be on the same page and understanding that he’s not the traditional guy and he’s different. He’s the new-age quarterback. A Patrick Mahomes type guy, a Caleb Williams type guy.”

Cam Ward’s QB coach, Darrell Colbert Jr.
