Plus, following the conclusion of the 2023 7-on-7 circuit, it may be hard to find a prospect whose stock rose the most than West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman four-star wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery. The elite pass catcher has some of the top programs in the nation now chasing after his services, including the Miami Hurricanes, who are looking to establish themselves as a serious contender for 2025 prospect early on.
There also was the news that JD Arteaga hired his new pitching coach, former Hurricane Laz Gutierrez. He has his work cut out, with Karson Ligon entering the transfer portal yesterday. You can read all about that, too.

Winning now is the college athletics world we all live in.
Watching TCU and USC get things done in ONE year only strengthens the Win Now argument because it CAN and HAS been done
My personal expectation was to be relevant by the end of Mario’s THIRD year. That’s not unreasonable.
But after slamming the program in reverse last year we’re heading for year 4 or 5.
Fact is, the 4 or 5 years rebuild is not reasonable.
But this is where we are……
