WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning?
Well, there’s just a tiny bit of news.
CANESPORT IS NOW AT ON3!!!
And we have a ton of stories coming up.
That starts this morning with a handful of great content.
First up?
Only legendary broadcaster Roy Firestone interviewing legendary Miami Hurricanes coach Jimmy Johnson in the start of our UM G.O.A.T.S series, a collaboration between CaneSport and the seven-time Emmy Award winning sportscaster Firestone. We begin with a riveting two-part interview with Jimmy Johnson, who won the 1987 National Championship at Miami and went on to win two Super Bowl titles with the Dallas Cowboys. Part 2 will air Tuesday July 5.
When you are done watching that we take a deep dive inside the On3 rankings … and where UM targets stand in the top 250.
It’s also decision day for a pair of Cane targets, and there’s a great chance Miami will add to the commit list. So check out our analysis of that and the list of other confirmed summer announcements that are Miami targets.
Sticking with recruiting, we catch up with two of Robert Stafford’s coaches for a look at what Miami landed Thursday with his big commitment.
There’s also a closer look at the roster talent Mario Cristobal has on the current team, with our breakdown of the top 30 players … and those that didn’t make the cut and why.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up today. … In particular a trio of announcements by Riley Williams, Jaxon Howard and Collins Acheampong. We have a strange feeling the Hurricanes will be adding some more talent to the Class of 2023 today, so stay tuned!

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Elite QBs….Need Elite OL … Posted by eddiemac66
Absolutely delighted to have Rashada and Williams … Elite QBs absolutely REQUIRE elite OL guys around them…..
OL is the hardest area to recruit as these guys are like big St. Bernard puppies and its very difficult to project what each kid will be like in 2 to 3 years after their arrival. As I’ve written many times on CS if you have true freshmen pushing for OL playing time you have trouble.
BIG TROUBLE.
Great young QBs committed……GREAT JOB!
We need ELITE FATTIES……..
It never ends……
