WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Our coverage of the ACC Football Kickoff continues, and yesterday we had your highlights of what coaches and players at Pitt, Virginia Tech, Cal, Stanford and Virginia were saying. Today? It’s Miami’s turn! So be sure to stay tuned later this morning for thoughts from Mario Cristobal, Cam Ward, Jalen Rivers and Francisco Mauigoa.
To hold you over till then?
We have an analysis of Vegas odds and what it says about Miami’s chances for a big season. We also continue our Miami Hurricanes Player Performance Index series, and today we’re at No. 8, Jacolby George. Will he hit the 1,000-yard mark after approaching it a year ago?
In recruiting we have more updates as well.
A visitor this weekend will be Boca Raton (Fla.) West Boca Raton four-star 2026 running back Javian Mallory. He will be on campus this Saturday and shares where things stand. Also visiting will be four-star Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day cornerback DJ Williams as well as Carrollton (Ga.) Bowden four-star 2026 tight end Kaiden Prothro. Get their takes heading into it.
We also catch up with Florida wide receiver commit Joshua Moore. His decision has not stopped the Miami Hurricanes from pursuing the four-star pass catcher, and he weighs in on where things stand.

Another update is with Miami (Fla.) Carol City four-star 2026 linebacker Jordan Campbell. He has been committed to the Miami Hurricanes since last November, so find out how things are going there.
Plus you don’t want to miss our interview with University of Miami junior diver Chiara Pellacani. He is set to compete in her second Olympic Games when things kick off in Paris July 26. After participating in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Pellacani who will be representing Italy this summer, is ready to make her return to the biggest stage sports has to offer.
There’s basketball news, too, as we get some team talk at UM’s July 23 workout session.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
