WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Our coverage of the ACC Football Kickoff continues, and yesterday we had all your Miami feedback on the team from Mario Cristobal, Cam Ward, Jalen Rivers and Francisco Mauigoa. So don’t miss that. Plus we had your wrapup of what coaches and players were saying at Louisville, Wake Forest, Duke and Boston College.
Also check out why On3’s J.D. PicKell is hopping on the Cam Ward hype train.
Plus there’s team analysis this morning as we look at players under the most pressure as the season approaches. We also continue our Miami Hurricanes Player Performance Index series, and today we’re at No. 7, Andy Borregales. The fate of some games could rest on his foot.

In recruiting? Plenty more updates with several previews of weekend visitors. We catch up with Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic four-star defensive lineman Jermaine Kinsler, the younger brother of Miami offensive lineman Tommy Kinsler. He will return to Miami this weekend for an unofficial visit. And so will Orlando (Fla.) Christian Prep offensive lineman Demetrius Campbell, a Miami commitment. Has he shut down his recruitment? Then we talk with Huntington (W.V.) Huntington Prep 2026 prospect Tayveon Wilson. He hasn’t visited Miami before, but he’s ready to change that this weekend. And local standout 2028 QB Niemann Lawrence, from Ransom Everglades, has a UM offer and will visit as well. Get his thoughts.
Plus there’s another Miami Hurricanes Olympian we profile, incoming freshman diver Jake Passmore, who is representing Ireland. So don’t miss that.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Talent on roster … Posted by J2theZ29
The change in talent on this roster is also credit to Mario. This is Mario blue print and effort to change this program. This is the best football team we have had in 20 + plus years because of Mario.
The past has been a combination of the lack of resources and money invested into the football program and the result is what we have seen on the field and the way the football program has been operated.
