MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Trap Games … Posted by Dalew2009

USF: I know everyone is saying this is an easy game. We win by double digits. But this is a game that if the team gets cocky could become a dog fight. This will be their superbowl. They have a very good QB and if we try to sleepwalk through that game, it could get dicey.

Cal: this game really only worries me because of the travel, and Ott. This could very easily be a 9AM PST kickoff. Just has the making of a road conference game that is closer than it should be.

GT: we all remember last year. This is a team that has capable players. The QB is very good when he’s not turning the ball over. He can hurt you with his arm and his legs. Now, I think this game will be circled on Miami’s calendar after last season, but again, if they don’t come to play, this is a game that’s right down the stretch on the road.

Syracuse: Saturday after Thanksgiving. Traveling all the way to NY. And you guys might think I’m crazy, but looking at Syracuse’s schedule, this is a team that could be playing to be in the ACCCG in that game. They miss Clemson and FSU.

I am confident Miami wins all 4 of these games, but these are the trap games I see on the schedule that Miami will need to make sure they are awake and ready to go for.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“The coaches here – nothing is given, everything is earned. When it comes to favoritism, none of that. We have a saying, `The best man will play.’”
