CaneSport watched more than half a dozen top Miami commits and recruits over the next three recruiting cycles play on national television this weekend, including the Hurricanes’ 2025 four-star quarterback commit Luke Nickel and Florida’s No. 1 prospect in the 2026 cycle, Derrek Cooper. We grade their performances.

Best case scenario for playoff seeding is for Miami and Clemson to win out. You don’t want to be the lowest seed conference champion. Even if we lost the ACC championship game we probably would be the highest non conference seeded teams which is important.
